The preservation-minded project restores and preserves many original features of the historic Art Moderne structure while creating state-of-the-art educational spaces specifically designed to support the school’s arts-focused curriculum. In addition to providing preservation, architectural and interior design services, RATIO also helped identify state and federal tax credits to assist with project financing and worked with the City of Indianapolis and the Indiana State Historic Preservation Office to ensure the building could be reused as a school.
