What does luxury look like in one of the world’s wealthiest cities?

Rising 21 stories over the fashionable Sinsa-dong district of Gangnam-gu, Seoul, this Four Points by Sheraton hotel reflects high-end luxury on a prime corner with scenic views to the Han River, Namsan Tower, and street-level access to the most active areas in Seoul.

The Impact

Inspired by the shape of gold bullion, the hotel nests upon retail space and a public plaza that fronts one of the city’s busiest intersections. The hotel’s 206 rooms are crowned by a top level of penthouses with open-air terraces overlooking one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the world.

The buildings prismatic form accentuates its location and creates an open and inviting lobby. Completely enclosed by a glass curtain-wall facade, the building appears to change color with the passing of the day and the ever-changing kinetic energy of Gangnam-gu.
