Activating an Entertainment Complex
Commission Row is an elevated 3-level dining and entertainment complex that extends the fan experience beyond the venue. In synergy with the Bicentennial Unity Plaza and Gainbridge Fieldhouse, home of the Indiana Pacers, Commission Row creates a level of intimacy in the civic space for pedestrians and visitors to get to know the city.
Impact
Having astutely kept their athletic venues downtown, the Circle City has leveraged its walkable scale and density of facilities to fashion an event-charged, central social district rich with hotels, restaurants and pedestrian-priority spaces. The lower level is a hidden destination speakeasy. The ebony-stained wood walls with highlights of copper, a glowing stone back bar display, and velvet curtains serve as the backdrop to a variety of comfortable lounge spaces throughout the bar.
Top Notch Event Space
The top floor is a large flexible hospitality and event space with a full-height glass and an all-season terrace overlooking the plaza.
