We were selected to transform a wooded site in North Carolina into a state-of-the-art facility offering premier multi-tenant laboratory spaces for lease. Utilizing a tight building plan, we extended the floor plates over the site to nestle the laboratory campus into the forested landscape while preserving as much of the existing woodland as possible.
The Impact
The new campus will feature open collaboration spaces and work areas infused with natural light and active amenity areas. With access to walking trails, outdoor areas, and sweeping forest vistas, the facility aims to inspire creativity and enhance tenant well-being by offering a direct link to nature. Positioned at the heart of the campus’s revitalization, strategically situated between three prominent research universities, the new office and laboratory space will further elevate the area’s stature by providing another world-class facility for cutting-edge research endeavors.
