RATIO Opens a Studio in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

New Studio Brings Unparalleled National Design Expertise to the Metro Milwaukee Area

MILWAUKEE — RATIO Design, a top 50 multi-national design firm, announced today that they are opening a Milwaukee, WI studio. The addition of a Milwaukee location to RATIO’s studios in Chicago and Champaign, IL, Indianapolis, IN, Denver, CO, and Raleigh, NC increases the firm’s visibility in the region.

Over the last decade RATIO has successfully expanded throughout the US, and we see this new Milwaukee Studio as a wonderful opportunity to bring our award-winning design disciplines to the region and better serve our clients in the commercial, education and civic practice areas,

RATIO’s Milwaukee Studio, located downtown, will be led by Rebecca J. Hinz, WRID, IIDA. Rebecca, a native of Milwaukee, is a Partner at RATIO with nearly 20 years of industry experience and expertise in the higher education, life sciences, and corporate interiors practice areas.

“Having lived in the Milwaukee community for years and experiencing the incredible growth and development we’ve had, I’m thrilled we can now bring our interdisciplinary design expertise to the area, allowing for better connection and local expertise to support the bright future of Milwaukee and the surrounding communities,” said Rebecca Hinz, WRID, IIDA, Partner and Milwaukee Studio Leader at RATIO.

Throughout Rebecca’s career, she has successfully led programming, interior design and project management on projects of all sizes for clients, including Pacers Sports & Entertainment, Ball State University, Fairmount Properties, Indiana Economic Development Corporation, Ivy Tech Community College, University of Kentucky, St. Louis University, and the Illinois Capital Development Board.

Additionally, her local experience prior to RATIO includes working with Greendale, Greenfield and Oak Creek School Districts, Watertown Regional Medical Center, Columbus Community Hospital, Aspirus Health and the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics.

Prior to returning to the Milwaukee area, Rebecca was the Interiors Studio Leader for RATIO’s Headquarters Office in downtown Indianapolis. From the Milwaukee Studio, Rebecca will continue to lead technical training, quality assurance, and design mentorship for the interior design discipline and across the firm.
