The Impact

The renovated 108,000 SF arena, featuring an expanded concourse level by over 25,000 SF, presents a single major entrance lobby facing downtown and a south lawn square, adorned with a signature kiosk and ground sign. With an all-glass entryway, the lobby doubles as a multipurpose event space, offering views of activities from the streets and sidewalks. Widened concourses ensure social space compliance and flexibility for various activities, while new view openings reveal a glass-enclosed Champions Club overlooking the arena. Back-of-house enhancements include upgraded team and artist facilities, media rooms, and energy-efficient mechanical systems, aligning with USGBC LEED Silver standards.

Reimagining the Exterior

The metal skin, inspired by vertical sycamore trees, embodies the University’s Sycamore Forest brand. It hovers above an all-glass curtain wall, reflecting daytime vibrancy and welcoming the community at night. Adorned with new signage and banners, the facility exemplifies the collaboration between education and community in creating lasting memories.
