Wabash Valley Power Wins Honor Award | AIA Indiana Design + Service Awards

AIA Indiana announced the 2021 Design and Service Award winners at the AIA Kentucky/AIA Indiana Convention in Louisville. RATIO is honored to receive three top awards this year.

Wabash Valley Power Alliance Inc.’s headquarters, designed by RATIO, received the Honor Award in the new construction category – greater than $5 million.

“The more we studied this office building the more we noticed how outstanding the complete and overall project is. It is seldom that as architects we are able to complete a project where the landscape, the interior, and finishes all work together for the benefit of the user. This project is one of those rare cases.” – Jury Comment

AIA Indiana also announced the 2021 Service Award winners. RATIO is extremely proud to be congratulating two distinctive designers this year for their contributions and leadership.

  • Scott Pannicke, AIA, received the Juliet Peddle Award. This special award is named after Indiana architect Juliet Peddle, known for her strong devotion and commitment to architecture, display of professionalism and perseverance and having a kind spirit.
  • Joe Yount, AIA, received the Tony Costello Young Architect Award for his tireless advocacy regarding sustainability, building code evolution, and development of young minds in his ACE mentor role.
