RATIO’s Denver Studio Expands Local Leadership

25-Year Local Design Institution Welcomes Kitty H. Yuen, AIA, as Principal / Denver Studio Leader and Further Invests in the Future of Architecture in the Western Mountain Region

DENVER, CO – International Design Firm RATIO announces new Principal and managing Studio Leader Kitty H. Yuen, AIA, to bolster design leadership in Denver.

Yuen is a Colorado-based and respected member of the American Institute of Architects, a Registered Interior Designer, and a LEED Accredited Professional. As Studio Leader, she will enhance current client relationships and seek new opportunities to carry out the firm’s commitment to designing healthy, inspiring, and sustainable cities.

“We are immensely excited to have Kitty join the RATIO team here. Her record of leadership in the community and AIA is highly reflective of our studio’s core values. Joe Poli and I welcome her to advance the future of the Denver Studio, allowing us to focus on our creative work for many years to come,” said Dennis Humphries, AIA, Principal for the Denver Studio.

This strategic hire builds upon the firm’s successful merger in 2019 with regionally acclaimed Humphries Poli Architects (HPA), allowing founders of HPA and current Principals at RATIO to focus on the future of architecture in Denver and the Western Mountain Region.

Yuen’s nearly 30 years of experience and diverse portfolio of project types – from corporate campus headquarters, higher education, and civic, to retail and commercial – will strengthen the local network and ensure clients have access to the firm’s broader resources.

Locations in Indianapolis, Champaign, Raleigh, and Chicago support RATIO’s Denver Studio. With Yuen’s addition to the team, the Denver Studio can continue to expand in other practice areas, drawing upon decades of local knowledge and the international resources of RATIO.
