We designed the Mariposa to leverage the urban condition and to promote wellness and community. Gardens, a play area, and ground floor transit encourage residents to venture outside of their respective dwellings and interact with their neighbors. The building front two streets and a new mid-block pedestrian way, inviting the greater community to utilize this urban shortcut to the adjacent light rail station.
Mariposa VII is the final phase of an urban revitalization project spanning two decades. Located a mile south of Denver’s Central Business District, this multi-generational living community contains 45 affordable apartments and 4 townhomes.
