An Indianapolis native, Ken began his career in urban design and landscape architecture with RATIO in 1989. He has an avid interest in helping communities prosper through the skillful development of opportunities for the citizens to realize an outstanding quality of life.
Ken is a firm believer that the 21st Century economy offers enormous potential for improvements in important living standards for the world’s inhabitants. He finds the design challenges that are unique to the “made” urban context of special interest. Along with the creation, recreation, and improvement of places that are unique and comfortable for the pedestrian as well as vital, accessible, and safe, Ken avidly strives to connect people to people, people to the land, people to their history and people to their culture in each project.
