“The design and the client relationship are equally important.”

Dae-Hong Minn is a prolific design leader. In 2009, Dae-Hong formed the Chicago studio with Scott Sarver to elevate design and provide comprehensive client services. Over the course of his career, he has facilitated 75 projects in Korea and dozens more throughout the U.S. and Asia.

For Dae-Hong, collaboration is critical. He assembles complex teams to realize significant projects, working seamlessly with developers, global architecture practices, and investors.

As a natural artist and a trained engineer, Dae-Hong leads with inspiration and follows through with the technical system. He’s a cross-pollinator of ideas, embracing the dichotomous lessons of Japan’s micro living spaces and America’s abundance of horizontal spaces for the benefit of his international clientele.

Dae-Hong is an optimist, seeing limitless opportunities for design to enhance life. His impact is evident, whether in striking residential towers, like Acro Seoul Forest, or a headquarters that embodies the spirit of a company like Samsung.
